Field Description: Rev. Dr. Wilfred Karsten travels to Sri Lanka every May to conduct in-service training for the pastors of the Lanka Lutheran Church (LLC). Dr. Marlin Schultz, LCMS Education Consultant for India and Sri Lanka, comes occasionally to conduct training for the pre-school teachers. The LLC pastors and seminary students also travel to India to participate in the in-service training programs of the IELC.
